If social media has taught us anything, it’s that folks will lose their ever-loving minds for a green-colored cocktail. Take the internet-famous Grinch cocktail, Tokyo Tea, the green tea shot or even a boozy Shamrock Shake. Heck, consider all our emerald-hued cocktails. Regardless of whether or not it’s St. Patrick’s Day, cocktail aficionados seem to have strong reactions—both positive and negative—to these drinks’ otherworldly coloring.
The Scooby Snack Shot is no exception. This drink came on our radar from, where else, TikTok, where videos tagged #scoobysnack have racked up 45.2K views. There are some full-sized Scooby Doo cocktails floating around the internet, but the shot-ified version appears far more searched-for, according to Google Trends.
We wondered: What’s the deal with this drink, and why do people love it so much? Here’s everything you should know.
