Step 2: Once received, bottles are reviewed by a member of the Wine Enthusiast Tasting Panel in adherence with our blind-tasting protocols. 

Step 3: The Wine Enthusiast Ratings Platform provides real-time status updates of your submission.

Step 4: All wine, spirit and RTD reviews are published online at WineEnthusiast.com/ratings. Select reviews will appear in the print magazine. 

In 2022, Wine Enthusiast stopped reviewing wines for select regions, the result of an overstretched and unsustainable backend system.

The new modernized Wine Enthusiast Ratings Platform allows us to open submissions to all regions around the world. The platform accepts every wine and spirit that is imported into the United States for review.

In addition, the Wine Enthusiast Ratings Platform digitally organizes the hundreds of thousands of reviews amassed from the Wine Enthusiast Tasting Panel for nearly 40 years and counting.

To support the new streamlined, tech-forward system, processing will incur a $65 per SKU fee. The fee covers:

• Receiving and Storage. We will take the samples in, organize and cellar them in our top-of-the-line storage facilities.
• Blind-Tasting Protocols. Our trained tasting staff will set up balanced flights to meet blind-tasting standards, including proper glassware, temperature, presentation and scoring calibration.
• Real-Time Updates. The Ratings Platform eliminates manual PDFs and provides visibility into the status of your submissions digitally. You may track the progress of your product samples directly on the platform.
• Guaranteed Review. Your product submission is guaranteed to be reviewed.
• Print/Online Preview. The Ratings Platform provides a preview of how a product will appear on Wine Enthusiast’s website and in the print magazine.
